Labuan is an island off the north coast of Borneo, It was ceded to GB by the Sultan of Brunei in December 1846. It issued its own stamps from 1879 until 1904, but in 1906 was incorporated with Straight Settlements and used their stamps thereafter (as it had prior to 1879).
