1958 Sc-C1 SG115 |
Scott describes Nepal as in, "the Himalaya Mountains between India and Tibet". It goes on to note that the stamps were only valid in Nepal and India until April 1959 and since then throughout the world.
Nepal's first airmail stamp, released in 1958, roughly perforated and without gum is rather attractive. This full sheet happened to be on ebay on the day this page was written, selling for $480.
