A 2017 resolution is to look into Search Engine Optimisation.

The starting point is hubspot.com's recommendation of 10 SEO tools. This will be Phase 1. These are:

Google Webmaster Tools - free
Check My Links - free, but couldn't get it to work.
Moz Pro - 30 day trial, then $99pm - ignore
SEO Report Card from UpCity - free
HubSpot's Website Grader - free
Woorank - 14 day trial then $49pm - ignore
Screaming Frog SEO Spider - the lite version is free
Found's SEO Audit Tool - free
Remove'em - $249 - ignore
Varvy's SEO Overview Tool - free

After verifying the site, the first thing Google asked for was a site map. Tried xml-sitemaps.com, but that failed because the site has more than 500 pages.
Next freesitemapgenerator.com (limit 5,000 for free). 54 errors found, all broken links and most of those related to the split of page 8 of the catalog. Sitemap completed 9Jan17 and submitted to Google.
New sitemap built 21Jul17, 1216 pages (not including the old site) and uploaded..
